7 Baby Bites For A Healthy Body

As I’ve mentioned several times over at No Credit Needed, I’m a huge fan of Dave Ramsey’s Baby Steps For Financial Peace.  So, I’ve decided to create my very own Baby Bites For A Healthy Body.  I like the idea of “having a plan”.

Baby Bites For A Healthy Body

Bite 1:  Drink 8 to 12 cups of water every day.

Bite 2:  Eat four to six healthy, balanced meals every day.

Bite 3:  Walk sixty minutes, every day.

Bite 4:  Sleep 6 to 8 hours, every night.

Bite 5:  Stretch and pray, every day.

Bite 6:  Take a multivitamin, every day.

Bite 7:  Weigh myself, once a month.

For the past four months, I’ve been living in denial.  I lost some weight, hit a platue, and then went right back to old habits.  But, last night I realized the following about myself:  I really do want to lose weight… and I’m the ONLY person who can really make that happen.  So, I’m going to use my Baby Bites plan and I’m going to lose weight.

I want to thank you all for your comments and emails.  I realize that reading this blog can get a little frustrating.  (Trust me, I HATE ‘hit and miss’ bloggers… but I have a history of yo-yo dieting.  I cannot make excuses… but I can pickup and move forward.)  Finally, two or three of you suggested that I go for a checkup… and I have decided to heed your advice.  I’m going to a camp/retreat for the week of the Forth, and I’ve scheduled a doctor’s appointment for the week after next.  I need to find out if I have some sort of “metabolic resistance” or thyroid issues.  Scared, NCN?  You bet…
